Lewis Hamilton has conceded that he was well beaten by Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg in the Austrian Grand Prix.
The 30-year-old started on pole position, but lost the lead to the German on the first corner of the circuit.
Hamilton did manage to cut the lead to two seconds, but was then hit with a five-second penalty for a pitlane infringement, which ended their battle and allowed Rosberg to seal the win.
"Nico did a fantastic job," Hamiton told Sky Sports News. "He was quicker in the race. I had a bad start but after that l was pushing as hard as l could."
Hamilton holds a 10-point lead over Rosberg at the top of the Drivers' Championship.
