Ex-racer David Coulthard has described Lewis Hamilton as "flawless" in qualifying for the Belgian Grand Prix.
Hamilton will start on pole for tomorrow's race after holding off his Mercedes teammate Nico Rosberg by over 0.4s.
Coulthard has heaped praise on the Englishman, who was struggling in comparison to Rosberg earlier in the weekend.
He told BBC Sport: "Lewis's lap was flawless. Nico tended to have the upper hand on two of the sectors but Lewis learned from that through qualifying. He would have had feedback that he has improved in the middle sector and then not content with that he improved in other areas around the lap.
"He just doesn't seem flustered in anyway. His hands are so steady on the wheel and he looks so assured. It was an as assured a qualifying lap as we have seen from him this year."
Valtteri Bottas will start third, while Ferrari's Sebastian Vettel will start ninth.
