Nico Rosberg has edged out Mercedes teammate Lewis Hamilton to top the standings in the third practice session ahead of the German Grand Prix.
Rosberg finished just 57 hundredths of a second ahead of Hamilton and Red Bull's Daniel Ricciardo to secure the ideal preparation ahead of qualifying later on Saturday.
The Ferrari duo of Kimi Raikkonen and Sebastian Vettel ended the session in fourth and fifth respectively, while Max Verstappen was in sixth place.
McLaren's Fernando Alonso finished in eighth position but teammate Jenson Button was only 19th fastest.
