Red Bull's Sebastian Vettel has admitted that he was disappointed with his car's performance during Australian Grand Prix qualifying on Saturday.
The four-time world champion failed to make Q3 for the first time in 27 races after finishing 13th in Q2, although he was later promoted to 12th on the grid after a penalty was handed to Valtteri Bottas for a gearbox change.
"There is not much I can do now, but we are disappointed," Vettel told reporters.
"The car was good yesterday. [But today] I struggled with drivability. We have lost that overnight, so we need to find out why that was."
Vettel was booed by sections of the main grandstand as he walked back to his garage.
