The FIA has concluded its investigations into the recent technical disputes surrounding Red Bull and McLaren, officially ruling out any rule breaches in both cases.
The ongoing competition between championship contenders Max Verstappen and Lando Norris has intensified scrutiny, leading the two teams to accuse each other of possible infractions.
Red Bull's adjustable "T-tray" device was under the spotlight, prompting FIA officials to conduct an in-depth inspection at the team's Milton-Keynes factory. Following the review, the FIA stated, "This investigation concluded that no breach has taken place," affirming its previous stance from the United States Grand Prix in Austin.
Similarly, accusations that McLaren was injecting water into its tyres as a cooling method were also addressed. After thorough examination, the FIA found "no evidence" of any irregularities, closing the matter.
With these decisions, the FIA has confirmed that both investigations are now "closed," allowing the focus to shift back to the championship battle between Norris and runaway points leader Verstappen.
