Nico Hulkenberg believes that he is consistently learning how to get the maximum out of his car.
The Sauber driver, who has seven championship points so far this season, finished 13th in the Belgian Grand Prix.
After starting at Williams in 2010, Hulkenberg made his way to Force India as a test driver before stepping up to a race seat and then moving to Sauber at the start of this season.
"You are always learning as there are always new circumstances, new tyres, new regulations," he told Autosport.
"I'm confident I can say that pretty much every time I squeeze the maximum out of myself and the car."
Hulkenberg's best finish so far this year is eighth in the Malaysian Grand Prix.
