Bruno Senna has insisted that the speculation regarding his future at Williams will not disrupt his race performances.
Valterri Botas has been tipped to replace Senna at the end of this season but the Brazilian believes that he can prove his worth to the team before the beginning of next year's campaign.
Senna told Sky Sports News: "I've had some bad luck recently which has put me on the backfoot in terms of results, but I've had many strong races and I just need to keep on with that and hopefully that will result in a seat for next year.
"If you get results, your future is normally in better shape.
"[Staying in] Formula 1 is my objective and I'll keep pushing to make sure I stay."
Senna has collected 25 points this season, eight fewer than teammate Pastor Maldonado.
