Sir Frank Williams has revealed that he could look to outgoing Mercedes team boss Ross Brawn to revive his fortunes.
Brawn started his career in Formula 1 with the constructor back in the 1970s and the Williams supremo hinted that he could bid to secure his services, despite Niki Lauda expressing his will to keep Brawn with the German manufacturer.
.
He told Sky Sports News: "If he was to come, he would be a great addition. I wasn't aware he was available. I may now have to contact him.
"The reason I am being hesitant is that I do employ people already, and it is very unlikely that we could afford Ross, or that he would want to come to us."
Brawn's future in the sport has been the subject of speculation since Mercedes recruited former McLaren man Paddy Lowe with a view to becoming team boss.
