The Royal & Ancient are expected to announce later today that Royal Portrush Golf Club will host The Open in 2019.
Last year, it was confirmed that the Major tournament would return to Northern Ireland following a 60-year absence.
Today, according to BBC Sport, Darren Clarke, who won the Claret Jug in 2011, will join organisers from the R&A to announce that the Portrush course will host The Open in four years' time.
It is also believed that the R&A will confirm that two further Opens will be held at the course in Northern Ireland over the next 40 years.
