Brandt Snedeker has insisted that he still has a chance to win the Open Championship after he relinquished his lead on day three at Royal Lytham & St Annes.
The American carded a course record-equalling round of 64 on Friday to give him a two-shot advantage over the chasing pack.
However, the 31-year-old holed his first bogeys of the tournament on Saturday as he slipped to four shots off the top of the leaderboard on seven-under-par.
"It was one of those days where you shake your head and wonder what's going on," he told reporters.
"I still have a chance tomorrow. I've come back from way farther back than this. I realise there's a lot of golf left."
Adam Scott currently leads after a round of 68 gave the Australian a score of 11-under.
