After their convincing fourball victory this morning, Europe's Justin Rose and Henrik Stenson blew a two-hole lead to go into the back nine of their foursome match against USA's Hunter Mahan and Zach Johnson all square at the Ryder Cup.
Rose and Stenson, who won the first point of the contest by defeating Webb Simpson and Bubba Watson 5&4 this morning, picked up where they left off with a birdie at the first to go 1 up.
Holes two, three, four and five were halved before Stenson's arcing tee shot on the sixth gave Rose a chance of a hole-winning birdie which he duly took.
The next two holes would go America's way, though, as a birdie at the seventh was followed up by a short miss from Rose for par at the eighth.
At the par-five ninth, both Stenson and Mahan boomed fairway woods up to the green and the hole was halved in birdie fours.
