Ian Poulter has admitted that it is about time that he won the Masters ahead of this year's event on Thursday.
The 37-year-old, who has an excellent Ryder Cup record, is yet to win a major in 40 attempts.
Poulter, though, attained his best finish at Augusta National last year and has never missed the cut in eight previous entries.
"This is my ninth Masters and that's quite a lot of Masters now, so it's about time I won one," Poulter said.
"I take a lot from every year I go to Augusta because it's more to put in the tank, and the more stuff you can build up around the golf course, the better.
"There are no secrets [at Augusta]. It's not like you have to go out and do a lot of work, you just practice and find the subtle differences and work on your short game and putting. I like Augusta National for that very reason."
The 2013 Masters gets underway on Thursday.
