Golf commentator Peter Alliss has said that Tiger Woods needs to rediscover his magic on the course.
The former world number one announced on Thursday that he is taking an indefinite break from golf to rediscover his form.
"You never know he might find a guru somewhere. Tiger might go to India like the Beatles and discover something magical," Alliss told BBC Sport.
"He'd be a huge miss. He's been a giant in a land of Lilliputians for years. I'm sure like many others I don't understand it, but I hope it's not the end for him.
"I hope he doesn't go out on a whimper. I think he might come back again, but it might be romantic to say he'll win a couple of majors. I'd like him to finish and play well - I don't want him to remember him hitting 82 and walking off courses in a wounded state."
Woods has fallen from number one in the world to number 62, within the past year.
