Sergio Garcia has dedicated his win at the Thailand Golf Championship to his mother, who he revealed underwent surgery earlier this week.
The Spaniard stormed to a four-shot victory at Amata Spring Country Club, which was his first triumph since last December's Johor Open in Malaysia.
"It's feels amazing," Sky Sports News quotes the 33-year-old as saying.
"Obviously, I've been fortunate to play here three times, counting this one, and I've been getting better every year, but it was a great week from the beginning.
"I want to dedicate this win to my mum, who had minor surgery early last week and is now recovering nicely, and to my girlfriend who was with me throughout."
Henrik Stenson finished in second place.
