Jon Rahm has continued his astonishing run of form with a one-shot victory at the American Express in California.
The world number four went into the tournament with three wins from his last five starts, including at the Sentry Tournament Of Champions at the beginning of the year.
Rahm has now added another trophy to his collection after negotiating the pressure placed on him by Davis Thompson, Xander Schauffele and Chris Kirk.
A final round of 68 proved to be enough, the Spaniard going four-under through the first 11 holes before even-par for his final seven was ultimately enough to edge out Thompson.
The young American matched his more experienced playing partner for large parts of the day, but the flag keeping a 48-foot putt out of the hole on the 17th prevented him from moving level heading into the last.
A 62 from Schauffele saw him come out of the pack to finish in a share of third with Kirk, who could only par his final six holes to have to settle for a share of third position.
Taylor Montgomery finished in fifth place on his own, while five players - including emerging star Tom Kim - finished in a tie for sixth spot.
Scottie Scheffler narrowly missed out on returning to world number one as he ended the competition in a share of 11th, with Justin Rose the highest Englishman in 26th position. body check tags ::
