PGA Championship winner Jason Day has revealed that he is content with his start to the Deutsche Bank Championship at TPC Boston.
The 27-year-old Australian shot five birdies and two bogeys on his way to a three-under first-round 68.
"If the putts had dropped today I would have shot a lot lower, but I holed some good quality putts to keep the momentum rolling my way," Day told Sky Sports News.
"Overall it was a good to get a 68 on very difficult day with the wind and pin locations. As the week goes on it's going to get gradually hotter, the greens are going to start baking out and getting quicker, the fairways as well."
Day's score leaves him three shots behind leader Brendon de Jonge after the first round.
