Nick O'Hern has opened up a three-stroke lead over the field on day one of the Frys.com Open in California.
The Australian looked in supreme form with the putter in his hand and holed three late birdies to card a round of 62.
Jhonattan Vegas had been at the top of the leaderboard for most of the day and four early birdies mean he is one of O'Hern's closest challengers heading into Friday's play.
Nicolas Colsaerts, who is reportedly hoping to secure a permanent spot on the PGA Tour, matched the round of Vegas at the CordeValle Golf Club.
