HSBC Champions winner Ian Poulter has said that his patience on the last day was a contributing factor to his second World Golf Championship success.
The Englishman, 36, came from four shots behind to clinch a two-shot triumph at Mission Hills in Shenzhen.
"It's so nice to get my hands on another trophy," said Poulter, whose last individual success was the Australian Masters last December.
"I've been in good form for a while and knew if I did the right things and stayed patient I would be right there. It's been an amazing six weeks."
Poulter, who will re-enter the world's top 20, becomes the seventh man to win multiple times in WGC events.
