New Zealand's Ryan Fox completes a wire-to-wire victory at the Ras Al Khaimah Classic in the United Arab Emirates.

New Zealand's Ryan Fox records a final-round 69 to win the Ras Al Khaimah Classic by five shots.

Having led during the opening three rounds, Fox was under pressure to make his dominance count on Sunday, but missing a putt from 15 inches on the fourth hole did not help with any nerves.

However, the world number 211 responded with a birdie at the next hole, and holding a four-shot advantage come the final hole, Fox knew that the job was done once his tee shot on 18 avoided any danger.

Fox subsequently birdied the closing hole to move to 22-under-par for the week, five shots clear of Englishman Ross Fisher who posts his best result in four years.

Three players - Pablo Larrazabal, Zander Lombard and Hurly Long - all finished one shot further back in a share of third position.

Scotland's Robert MacIntyre could only shoot a final-round 70 to end the tournament in a share of ninth position. body check tags ::
