John Senden has taken a two-shot lead after the first round of the Australian Open in Sydney.
The 41-year-old recovered from bogeys at holes two and three to card a six-under 66, edging ahead of a chasing pack of five.
Fellow Australians Kim Felton, Richard Green and Brendan Jones all finished on four-under-par, as did New Zealand's Gareth Paddison.
England's Justin Rose clubbed five birdies on the back nine to join them.
