Lee Westwood has revealed his disappointment at his failure to win the Dubai Desert Classic over the weekend.
The Englishman led the field heading into the final day, only for poor form on the greens to cost him the victory.
Westwood opted not to speak to reporters following his second-placed finish, instead choosing to air his views on Twitter.
"Well tossed that one away nicely! Carnage on the greens! Managed not to break or smash anything post round!," said Westwood.
"Have now given [caddie Billy Foster] approval to slap me if I don't run the ball at the hole with pace over the next three weeks!"
Westwood moved up to world number two as a result of his runner-up spot.
