Former world number one Tiger Woods has claimed that he will have to switch up his game if he is to repeat his last triumph at the Open Championship.
The 36-year-old last ended victorious during the 2006 Open at Hoylake but the American pro has insisted that he cannot take much from the tactics that led him to glory.
"I'll hit more three woods and drivers than in Hoylake," said Woods. "Then I was hitting 3 and 4 irons 300 yards, it was so fast and blowing.
"This is different, the bunkers are staggered differently. There are some forced carries. There has to be shape to shots, you can't just hit it one way."
Woods will tee off alongside Justin Rose and Sergio Garcia on Thursday morning.
