Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy have been paired together for the first two rounds of this week's US PGA Championship.
Woods, a four-time champion in this competition, is making just his second professional appearance since severely breaking his leg in a car accident in February 2021.
The legendary American, who has spoken of his excitement ahead of this tournament, and two-time winner McIlroy will play alongside Jordan Spieth, who is attempting to complete the career Grand Slam at Southern Hills.
Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm and Collin Morikawa - the top three players in the World Golf Rankings - form another star-studded group for Thursday and Friday's play.
The all-American group of Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas and Patrick Cantlay will also generate plenty of interest, as will a threesome of Brooks Koepka, Shane Lowry and Adam Scott.
Koepka finished in a share of second position behind Phil Mickelson 12 months ago, but the defending champion has withdrawn from this event ahead of his likely opening appearance with the LIV Golf International Series next month.
