Richard McEvoy, Oliver Wilson and Tom Lewis are among five players who are tied for first place after day one of the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship in Scotland.
The English trio share the lead with France's Alexandre Kaleka and Chile's Mark Tullo after they all finished on eight-under-par.
McEvoy, Tullo and Kaleka scored 64s at Carnoustie while Wilson and Lewis posted the same score at St Andrew's.
Welsh player Jamie Donaldson carded a seven-under-par 65 leaving him in a four-way tie for sixth with George Murray, Mark Foster and Matthew Baldwin.
Ten players share 11th place on six-under-par, including South Africa's Garth Mulroy and Denmark's Soren Kjeldsen, who both scored 66.
