Overnight leader Michael Hoey held off a challenge from Rory McIlroy to win the Dunhill Links Championship at St Andrews this afternoon.
Irishman McIlroy took the lead after the front nine, but 32-year-old Hoey shot a 68 on the Old Course to claim victory by two shots.
Scotland's George Murray and Northern Ireland's Graeme McDowell shared third place, two further shots behind.
Belfast-based Hoey finished on 22-under-par for the competition.
