Dustin Johnson has won the St. Jude Classic in only his second tournament after returning from a back injury.
The 27-year-old, who had not swung a club for six weeks prior to his appearance in last week's Memorial Tournament, hit a four-under 66 to finish nine under par and secure victory in Memphis.
Johnson had to come from behind and birdied two of his final three holes to steal victory from John Merrick by one stroke.
Davis Love III, Ryan Palmer and Chad Campbell finished joint third on seven under par.
Rory McIlroy, who had led, finished joint seventh on six under par after serious water trouble ended his hopes of winning the event.
