World number one Rory McIlroy emerged victorious from the BMW Championship in Indiana this evening.
The Irishman started the final day on 15-under, which was one shot behind joint leaders Vijay Singh and Phil Mickelson.
However, Murray shot a five-under 67 over the course of the day to win his second straight FedEx Cup playoff event.
Mickelson eventually tied for second spot with Lee Westwood on two-under, while Tiger Woods and Robert Garrigus shared third position on a shot further back.
Today's success marked McIlory's third tournament win from his last four attempts.
