Bill Haas and Charley Hoffman recorded rounds of seven-under-par to each take a share of the lead on day one of the Shell Houston Open.
Hoffman showed good touch on the greens in Texas, needing just 27 putts on his way to a round of 65, while Haas edged to the top of the leaderboard thanks to five birdies on the back nine.
Four players sit one shot off the lead in Houston, including Keegan Bradley and Matt Kuchar, who both looked in good form ahead of next week's Masters.
A group of 10 competitors shot five-under-par, while Phil Mickelson recorded a round of 68 just one week after pulling a muscle in his side.
