Graeme Storm, Jamie Donaldson and David Lynn are among seven players leading the way at the Portugal Masters at the Oceanico Victoria Golf Club in the Algarve.
Felipe Aguilar, Maximilian Kieffer, Alvaro Quiros and Simon Thornton also shot 65 to finish the day on six-under-par, while nine players chase on five-under-par.
Robert Rock, Miguel Angel Jimenez and Paul McGinley all came in even-par, which means that they are outside the cut, currently projected at one-under-par.
French duo Raphael Jacquelin and Thomas Levet will also need to go low on their second rounds if they are to stick around for the weekend.
