English duo Paul Casey and Ian Poulter are tied for the lead as the weather-affected Honda Classic heads into a fifth day on Monday.

After play was abandoned for the day on Saturday, the top 20 players on the leaderboard got through their third rounds and Poulter took a healthy lead into the final 18 holes after carding a 66 on the PGA National course.

With darkness descending on the Palm Beach Gardens course, Poulter looked set for a comfortable overnight lead, but the 39-year-old shanked his tee shot into the par-three fifth and found the water before ending up a with double bogey.

After a bogey at the next hole, Poulter regained his composure with a birdie at the seventh to take a share of the overnight lead alongside Casey at seven under par.

Casey followed up his third round of 68 by making an impressive start to his final round, carding four birdies to reach the turn in 31 before bad light stopped play.

Patrick Reed remains in contention, only a shot behind and level par for his opening seven holes, playing alongside Poulter.
