JB Holmes is on course to win the World Golf Championships at Doral after finishing day three with a round of 70 and five-shot lead over Dustin Johnson.
Bogeys at the first and seventh holes were offset as the 2008 Ryder Cup player sunk a hole-in-one at the fourth and reached the turn in level par for the day.
Holmes dropped a shot at the 12th, but a flurry of birdies at the 14th, 15th, 16th and 17th, before a bogey at the last saw the American head into the final round on 11-under par.
However, Johnson, who has returned to golf after a period away from the sport for personal reasons, put himself in contention for victory on Sunday with a third round of 69.
The 30-year-old made an inauspicious start with a bogey at the second, but his round was kickstarted with his own hole-in-one at the fourth and three further birdies, only to bogey the final hole to fall back to six-under par.
