Anirban Lahiri has recorded a third-round 65 to move four shots clear at the top of the CIMB Classic leaderboard.
The Indian player began the day in second place but after previous leader Justin Thomas struggled to a 71, Lahiri fired in nine birdies on his way to taking control of the tournament in Kuala Lumpur.
Thomas now sits in a tie for second place with Scotland's Russell Knox, while Derek Fathauer, James Hahn and Hideki Matsuyama remain in contention in a share of fourth position.
Australia's Adam Scott has moved into the top 10 after a round of 66 but compatriot Marc Leishman has lost ground on the chasing pack after only registering a 71.
Sergio Garcia goes into the final day in 17th spot while Paul Casey has dropped down to 22nd, despite a bogey-free round of 70.
