Tim Petrovic and Michael Putnam both recorded rounds of 64 to earn a share of the lead on day one the Canadian Open.
Putnam made six birdies in a bogey-free day at Royal Montreal as he backed up his long game by hitting top form with the putter, while Petrovic, who has not won a PGA Tour event since 2005, reached the top of the leaderboard with four birdies and an eagle.
Petrovic was not initially scheduled to be in the field this week, but Benjamin Alvarado's decision to withdraw opened up a spot for the 47-year-old.
Kyle Stanley is just one shot behind the leaders after 18 holes, and he is joined on five-under-par by Canadian amateur Taylor Pendrith.
Former Masters champion Charl Schwartzel and Nick Watney are among a group of 11 players a stroke further back after respective rounds of 66.
