Tiger Woods has recorded one of his best rounds of 2015 during Friday's play at the Quicken Loans National.
On Thursday, the former world number one recovered from three-over-par after four holes to post a score of 68, but the 14-time Major winner has followed up that effort with a strong display during the second round.
Woods, now at number 266 in the world rankings, dropped a shot during the early stages but recovered to register six birdies throughout the remainder of his round to move towards the top of the leaderboard.
Woods currently sits in a tie for third place, and even though he will drop slightly down the standings as players continue to complete their rounds, he will be encouraged by his best 18 holes of the year.
