Veteran gymnast Naoya Tsukahara has admitted that it is "very hard" to compete at the age of 37.
Tsukahara, who won artistic team gold with Japan at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, now competes for Australia after moving there in 2009 and gaining citizenship in 2012.
Reflecting on his performance today, Tsukahara told Sports Mole: "Not too bad, I made a mistake on the pommel horse so not too bad."
At 37, Tsukahara is the oldest gymnast in Glasgow.
"It's very hard, but I enjoy it," he added. "Australian people, everybody, is kind and gives me good support."
Australia are the defending Commonwealth champions, but have been hit with a number of injuries and currently lie fifth in the halfway standings. England are more than six-and-a-half points clear of Scotland in the gold medal position.
