Alice Kinsella and Adam Tobin took home the all-around titles at the British Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Liverpool.
With reigning men's champion Joe Fraser out injured and 2022 women's title-holder Jessica Gadirova only competing in beam and uneven bars, the doors were open for two new British champions to be crowned on Saturday.
Kinsella - the current European silver medallist in the all-around competition - clinched the gold medal with a total of 55.300, posting the highest scores of the day on beam and floor.
Commonwealth teammates Ondine Achampong (55.000) and Georgia-Mae Fenton (51.600) took second and third respectively, while the returning Rebecca Downie scored a competition-high 14.250 on the uneven bars.
In the men's all-around, 22-year-old Tobin won his maiden senior British title with a total score of 82.500, as four-time Commonwealth champion Jake Jarman settled for second with 81.800.
Pavel Karnejenko scooped the bronze medal with 81.400 on the board - only 0.050 better off than Joshua Nathan - while Max Whitlock did not go for all-around glory but scored a massive 15.100 on his favoured pommel horse. body check tags ::
