Canada goaltender Carey Price has hailed the performance of his opposite number Kristers Gudlevskis in his side's narrow quarter-final win over Latvia in the Winter Olympics.
Gudlevskis frustrated the Canadians by making 55 saves in their match in Sochi, but ended up on the losing side as Shea Weber scored a late winner to send his side into the last four.
However, the 21-year-old's performance between the sticks did not go unnoticed by Price.
"That was one of the best goaltending performances I've ever seen," he told reporters.
Canada face off against the United States in their semi-final on Friday.
