Slovakia ice hockey player Tomas Kopecky has been ruled out for the remainder of the Winter Olympics due to injury.
The forward picked up the problem in Saturday's clash with Slovenia, taking an elbow blow to the head from opposition player Sabahudin Kovacevic in the first period.
Kopecky, who has completed at two Games, did not return to the field against Slovenia and a team spokesman has now confirmed that the 32-year-old will play no more part in Sochi.
Finland's Aleksander Barkov was also forced to pull out of the ice hockey tournament earlier this week due to an injury sustained to his lower back.
