World Supersport champion Michael van der Mark is reportedly in line to make his MotoGP debut at Assen this weekend.
Karel Abraham has been ruled out of the race in his hometown due to a foot injury, meaning that a space needs to be filled for Honda.
According to Dutch website Racesport, Van der Mark is expected to be called up after clinching two World Superbike podiums for Pata Honda at Assen this year.
Van der Mark will also be joining Casey Stoner and Takumi Takahashi for the Suzuka 8 Hours.
