Former Formula 1 driver Mark Webber has been taken to hospital after getting injured in a crash during a World Endurance Championship race in Brazil.
The 38-year-old, who races for Porsche, crashed into the barriers at the Six Hours of Sao Paulo after colliding with Matteo Cressoni's Ferrari.
A statement on Webber's official website said: "Mark was taken to the medical centre and has later been transferred to a hospital in Sao Paul. He is in a satisfactory condition and will stay overnight for further checks."
Webber left Formula 1 last year following a 12-year career in the sport.
