Former Sky Sports host Richard Keys has claimed that Thierry Henry's wage demands for punditry were too high as the latter makes his full-time debut today.
Keys said on Twitter this morning that he tried to recruit Henry at beIN Sports, but that his demands priced them out of a move.
"Glenn Hoddle joins us all on BeIN Sports today. Good luck to Thierry Henry. Sorry we couldn't make it work here but he just wanted too much," wrote Keys.
Former Arsenal striker Henry, 37, is said to be earning around £4m a year with Sky, which is almost three times as much as what lead pundit Gary Neville makes.
