Barcelona will reportedly feature in the first La Liga game to be played in the United States this January.
Last month the Spanish league unveiled proposals to stage a number of regular-season games in the US in order to broaden its popularity, prompting outrage from some players and fans.
According to L'Esportiu today, the first game will be played in the US sooner than expected, with Barcelona facing Girona at Miami's Hard Rock Stadium in the last weekend of January.
The Catalonian derby was originally due to be staged at Girona's 13,450-capacity Estadi Montilivi but is now on course to be moved to the home of the NFL side Miami Dolphins, a ground which can accommodate almost 65,000 spectators.
The newspaper claims that the game will take place at 2.45pm ET, making it the usual evening fixture in Spain, and all Girona season-ticket holders will be reimbursed for the game.
La Liga has yet to comment on the report.
