Barcelona star Lionel Messi left a group of fans in awe after he greeted them at the end of a training session with Argentina in the United States.

The four-time Ballon d'Or winner is currently on international duty preparing for a friendly against Bolivia at the Compass Stadium in Houston on Friday.

After walking away from a training pitch, a group of youngsters approached the forward and he happily shook their hands and embraced the group.

The encounter, which was filmed, ended with one of the fans turning to camera and saying, "you got that, right?"
