Two of the players who survived the plane crash that killed most of the Chapecoense first team have returned to Brazil to continue their recovery.
Defenders Alan Ruschel and Helio Neto had been in a Colombian hospital after the tragic accident, in which 71 people lost their lives last month as the Brazilian Serie A side were travelling to the Copa Sudamericana final.
Posting on social media upon his return to Brazil, Ruschel wrote: "God's plans are greater than mine, so great that you can not imagine. Thanks to everyone for your love, strength, your prayers and positive thoughts.
"We continue the fight and we will honour the ones that died. God, I ask you to comfort their relatives! God, thank you for the mercy in this miracle, the Lord is wonderful, Thank you!"
Meanwhile, Neto posted a video from his hospital bed while wearing an oxygen mask in order to pay tribute to the medical staff who are aiding his recovery.
"I want to thank everybody for the help and congratulate them for doing a wonderful job," he said.
The other survivor, goalkeeper Jakson Follmann, has been recovering in Sao Paulo.
