Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho rewarded a translator today by handing him a signed training top.
This afternoon the 50-year-old held a press conference ahead of his side's Champions League match against Steaua Bucuresti, which will be played at Stamford Bridge tomorrow night.
The sheer volume of questions meant that the conference went on much longer than what had been anticipated, with Mourinho at one stage joking that the Romanian translator should have been paid double for his efforts by UEFA.
Then, moments before proceedings were ended, Mourinho took off his top, signed it and then handed it to the man on his right as a goodwill gesture.
One of Mourinho's first jobs in football was to act as a translator for Sir Bobby Robson at Barcelona in 1996.
