Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler was forced to apologise for making a comment that could be deemed sexist on BBC's Final Score football show.
The 38-year-old was asked to comment on Saturday's 1-1 draw between Tottenham Hotspur and Chelsea, where Fernando Torres was booked for appearing to scratch the face of Spurs defender Jan Vertonghen.
When discussing the incident, Fowler said: "They were pulling at each other like a pair of girls."
He later apologised on the show by saying: "I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to offend anyone."
Torres, who was later sent off for a second bookable offence, could face a four-game ban for the incident with Vertonghen.
