Scotland Yard have confirmed that they will examine video footage of a group of Chelsea supporters who allegedly chanted verbal and racist abuse at a black man at a metro station in Paris.
The Premier League club have vowed to ban the supporters if they are found guilty of racial abuse following the emergence of an amateur video.
The footage, which was obtained by The Guardian, showed a number of Chelsea supporters shoving a the man back onto the platform after he tried to squeeze onto a train at the underground station.
The fans could then be heard chanting: "We're racist, we're racist and that's the way we like it."
Today, Scotland Yard confirmed that they will go through the video footage as they aim to launch an investigation into the supporters involved in the incident.
The unsavoury scenes occurred at the Richelieu-Drouot station prior to Chelsea's 1-1 draw with Paris Saint-Germain in their last-16 Champions League clash last night at Parc des Princes.
