Lionel Messi has fuelled talk of a move to Chelsea after following the Blues' account on Instagram.
The Barcelona superstar was benched for Sunday's 1-0 defeat at Real Sociedad, before missing an open training session on Monday.
He also began following Chelsea stars Thibaut Courtois and Filipe Luis.
The Argentine has been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge as early as November, but manager Jose Mourinho dismissed the speculation at the time.
However, the four-time Ballon d'Or winner also follows Manchester City, Newells Old Boys and Argentina on the social networking site.
