French police have reportedly used tear gas against football fans in the centre of Lille amid reports of renewed clashes at Euro 2016.
Reports differ over which sets of fans were targeted, with BBC Sport claiming that the gas was directed at Russian fans who were approaching England supporters, while The Telegraph believes that the latter were targeted.
It is also believed that a number of scuffles took place on the streets between small groups of both sets of supporters, with some Russian and English fans detained by police.
England and Wales supporters are in Lille ahead of the teams' match in nearby Lens on Thursday, alongside Russian and Slovakian fans, whose Group B match took place at the city's Stade Pierre-Mauroy.
Both England and Russia have been threatened with expulsion from the European Championships.
