Lamar Odom's estranged Khloe Kardashian reveals that the former NBA star is beginning to walk again after suffering a cocaine overdose.

Former NBA star Lamar Odom is learning to walk again after suffering several strokes following a cocaine overdose.

The sportsman's estranged wife Khloe Kardashian has revealed that the ex-Los Angeles Lakers forward is "doing better".

Odom is undergoing treatment at the Cedars-Sinai hospital in LA after he was found unconscious at a brothel in Las Vegas last month.

In an interview with Extra, Kardashian said: "He's definitely doing better which is awesome, every day is better, he's off of all machines that, he is alive on his own, and no machines are helping him which is great, but he still has a lot of physical and cognitive therapy to go through, so it's a long road for him.

"He will try to learn to how to walk back so that is first. When he can support himself on his own, or physically try to walk better on his own or at least with an assistance, with like a walker, then he will probably leave the hospital and do a lot of cognitive and mental strengthening."

Cocaine and sexual-enhancement supplements were found in Odom's system.
